Khandani Msibi is the Group CEO of NIC, he joined NIC in 2008 when the Group was facing liquidation in the Cape High Court. Khandani was instrumental in the rescue of NIC from liquidation, its turnaround and growth. Khandani started his career in the steel industry and progressed to the FMCG industry where his managerial career flourished in companies like Brystol Myers Squibb, Bromor Foods and ABI.
Msibi’s career achievements prior to joining NIC includes leading a team to build a factory for Bromor Foods in Durban, preventing the closure of Pretoria Manufacturing in ABI through productivity and quality improvements. More importantly Khandani was in the team that brought Energade to market, revolutionising the sports drink market.
As Group CEO, Khandani is a Chairman of all subsidiaries of the Group including Doves Group, Union Life, Sechaba Medical Solutions, and NFS amongst others.
